• A route through northern Morocco

A stay at Be Live Grand Saidia can serve as perfect point of depart for organizing a fabulous long route through the majestic northern Morocco. Places like Tangier, Chefchaouen, Asilah, Nador, Tetouan, Larache … offer us a picture of a northern and different Morocco, completely different from the country’s Alawite preconceived image that we have in our minds.

On our way through the north of Morocco, from our base located in the imposing Be Live Grand Saidia, guided tours or renting a car can be a good way to enjoy one of Morocco’s areas most similar to the south of Spain.

Here have been famous names from all sectors of Hall of Fame: Actors, actresses, painters, writers, musicians, poets… They were fascinated by the brightness and color of this part of the country.

Some places seems authentic Andalusian villages, which at the time were built to accommodate those Muslims expelled from the peninsula by the Catholic Monarchs and never forgot his beloved Al-Andalus; period without the Spanish could not understand their history and character.

We are travelling in a fishing fringe, where fish is the basis of an exquisite cuisine, with dishes -in many cases- very similar to those of the Mediterranean diet, making it clear that Moroccan food ingredients crossed borders and spread through the Mediterranean.

Also, something that will surprise us greatly is the amount of coastal towns and villages, which will fascinate the visitor with its lively nightlife, leisure and recreational offer. Certainly a route through northern Morocco will be fascinating.
