On the left side of the river Caminar de Matanzas, 20 minutes of Varadero, tourists of this fantastic cuban paradise can enjoy one of the most spectacular attractions of Cuba. We are talking about the nightly show of Tropicana Matanzas: feathers, rhythm, music and Caribbean.
It’s a very new and modern version of the famous Tropicana Cabaret in Havana, an institution in the Caribbean island.
Thousands of foreigners travel each year to Cuba and visit the famous habanero cabaret, created in 1939, which have seen legendary stars like Josephine Baker, Nat King Cole and Libertad Lamarque.
But the Tropicana in Havana is a little far away and Cabaret Tropicana Matanzas came to Varadero to cover the demand of tourism that has grown with the image of the famous cuban show, reported by films, books, documentaries…
The local of Varadero is another ‘paradise under the stars’, conceived with the same premises of the establishment located in the capital of Cuba. Like the original, it feeds on the circus, ballet, carnival curfews, caribbean folklore, cuban rythm… all open-air, ‘under the stars’.
More than two hundred artists act in this musical revue, offering a genuinely cuban show which provides, every night, to almost 500 spectators. Tropicana Varadero offers five hours of musical performances at a five-star cabaret.
